Finding a blush that truly compliments your skin tone and skin undertone isn't always easy. One of the tricky parts is dealing with the changes in the shade of your skin tone especially if you tan easily in the sun (the way I do).
I personally love using a blush that creates a natural-looking, skin-kissed look and is easy to use as everyday makeup.
I promise this hack will make your makeup application effortless because you will always have a shade available that blends flawlessly with your skin – regardless if it's newly tanned or a tan that's slowing fading.
How to Create the Perfect Shade of Blush?
1) Take a tinted moisturizer.
2) Add a liquid lipstick
3) Blend the two products in the palm of your hand.
4) Apply this to your cheeks using your fingers. The warmth from your hands will allow the product to blend easily, but feel free to use a makeup brush or sponge if you like.
If you don't have a tinted moisturizer you can also use a foundation. If it's a heavier, full coverage foundation, then slightly dilute it with a moisturizer. Otherwise, the blush might look a bit heavy especially if this is the only makeup you are applying to your cheeks.
Instead of liquid lipstick, you can also use regular lipstick. But add some moisturizer to the mix so it's easy to blend and apply.
You can also apply this directly to your eyes as an eyeshadow or even under your eyes as a color corrector.
I would love to hear your thoughts about using blush.
