This past weekend wasn't easy. I had to make a really big decision about…
drumroll please….wisdom teeth removal
OK, ok…I know, for most you this is no big deal. You're probably rolling your eyes after reading this and thinking what a chicken. After all it's a routine procedure that most people go through without any major issues.
But you see, my case was a little different.
This tooth was so damn close to the nerve that it put me in the high risk category for nerve damage. Also considering that my dad went through the same dilemma and it took him a full year to recover only made me more nervous about moving forward with this process.
Apparently I fell in a high risk category where the procedure could cause temporary or worse (permanent) nerve damage because the tooth was so close to my facial nerve.
So I was left with two choices.
Leave the wisdom tooth intact and take the crown for being the queen complainer. Because you know I'm going to be nagging to EVERYONE by the time I hit my 6th week of constant irritating pain.
I could hope for the best and move forward with the procedure.
Well you guessed it. I put on my big girl pants and went for the procedure. Besides the queen complainer crown didn't suit me. It would never be bejeweled enough for my liking. ?
So now if you are wondering what hell does this have anything to do with the inspirational words video?
Well, let's just say this situation made me face one of my worst fears….”What if because of the nerve damage I wasn't able to talk on videos anymore?”
After I simmered on that thought for some time here is what I realized.
No obstacle can ever get in your way when you aspire for your dream with a pure, deep, heartfelt intention.
After all who said I can't take detours to get to my dream. Even if I can't talk at this moment doesn't mean I can't get my message out.
So at the end of it all, here is the amazing video that got created as I sat at home in recovery with a swollen face and NO nerve damage! Woohoo!!
I hope this video also helps you on days when you need a little something extra to boost your inspiration so you can keep reaching for your dreams.
Watch with the sound on and I hope you enjoy the video as much as I loved making it.
