Save time applying Eye Makeup
I tried Smitha Deepak's beginner-friendly Magical Blending Technique for applying Eyeshadows. I was amazed at how flawlessly this worked!
I made a few modifications to make this slightly easier for my mature eyes and to save money.
What I changed from the Original Technique:
I did not use a sponge eyeshadow applicator or the P Louise eye base. I did not have a sponge applicator at home, and I didn't want to spend money purchasing it. Instead of the sponge, I used my finger to apply the shadows. By using my fingers, the color pigment was much brighter.
I substituted the eye base with the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer option. It's a much lighter formula, prevents creasing, and easier to blend on my mature eyes.
I used the Sonia Kashuk blending crease brush instead of the Milani concealer brush. Honestly, I think any small brush will work fine as long as its slightly stiff and a little flat at the top so it's easy for dabbing.
I would love to hear your thoughts about this technique. Feel free to share your results.
With all my love
